Help Support South Jersey Ballet Theatre!

COVID-19 has impacted everyone, including those of us in the performing arts. Like others around the world, our performances were cancelled due to the pandemic. We are now raising funds to allow our young dancers to perform our annual performance of The Nutcracker in a safe environment.

South Jersey Ballet

A Unique Learning Environment

South Jersey Ballet School students have a range of performing opportunities open to them. South Jersey Ballet Theatre produces two full-length ballets a year, including the Nutcracker in December and a full-length spring performance. South Jersey Ballet School students also take part in studio open house performances, as well as lecture demonstrations in the community. Naturally, all students perform in the Annual Recital, where the students demonstrate all they have learned that year. The ample performing opportunities allow the students to gain exciting performance experience and prepare them for a future as a professional dancer. South Jersey Ballet students are accepted into the top pre-professional programs in the United States.  Students are given the opportunity to attend these prestigious schools based on their technique, skill and experience the South Jersey Ballet School and Theatre provide. Such schools include ABT – American Ballet Theatre New York, Boston Ballet, Ellison Ballet, Gelsey Kirkland, Houston Ballet, Joffrey Chicago & New York, Kirov, Atlanta Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Tucson Ballet and Washington Ballet.

South Jersey Ballet Theatre is a 501(c)3 not for profit educational organization which provides dancers ages 4-18  from the surrounding area to participate in a full length ballet production. Dancers from many different school participate in this production. We rely on raising funds through ticket sales, local business and corporate donations, fundraising events, SJBT company members family and friends.
